Each year brings something different to us all; different challenges, experiences and perspectives. Numerology helps us understand the trends in store for us for the current or upcoming years.
By adding the month and day of your birthday as well as the current year in question we get our personal year number. Each of these numbers has a specific meaning. See below for definitions.
A birthday of March 23 and the year in question is 2015.
We add 3+2+3+2+0+1+5=16
Now reduce 1+6= 7
The personal year number would be 7
*Should you arrive at a Master Number 11, 22 etc respectively reduce to a single digit.
Personal Year 1
This is a year of action. The seeds you plant now, you will reap later. Others might find you less sociable, as you are busier than ever and you focus on your activities and your needs. Still, you are outgoing and your initiative is stronger than ever.
Advice – Stand alone, take action, start fresh, and express independence.
Personal Year 2
This is a year of potential companionship. It is a quiet, gentle, and mostly harmonious year that is less active than other years. Instead, you are more responsive to the needs of others. If you are patient and open yourself up in a gentle manner, you will attract both things and people. This is an excellent year in which to build and develop for the future.
Advice – be patient, be receptive, enjoy the peace, collect.
Personal Year 3
This is a year of sociability. It is a friendly time, during which it is especially easy to enjoy life and other people. Focus is on personal freedom, reaching out to others, making new friends, and exploration. You are more enthusiastic and ready for adventure. It is likely to be a rather lighthearted year, when opportunities for “play” time are greater than usual. It’s also a good year for expressing your creativity.
Advice – reach out, but avoid scattering your energies.
Personal Year 4
This is a year of work and development. It’s “nose to the grindstone” time. It’s a time to deal with practical matters, and it’s not a time to be lazy or especially gregarious. Sometimes, it can be a year that feels hard, monotonous and routine, and/or lonely. Positive new relationships are not as frequently formed in a four personal year than they are in other years.
Advice – get yourself organized, work to build your resources, keep busy.
Personal Year 5
This is a year of exploration and freedom. It’s a time when exploration and reaching out to others brings opportunities. It’s a good time to advertise and sell. Surprises are in store, and the routine is broken. This is a year when exciting relationships can be formed, or, if you are already in a partnership, new life is breathed into the relationship.
Advice – explore, look for adventure, keep your eyes open for opportunities, mingle.
Personal Year 6
This is a year of relative contentment. It is a time when love is the easiest to attract, and partnerships formed under this vibration have a better chance for longevity. You are able to attract others, and material things as well, this year. This is a good year for establishing harmony in the family and in the home.
Advice – develop existing relationships, be positive and receptive because these kinds of energies help you to attract what you desire.
Personal Year 7
This is a year of preparation, chance, and refinement. It is not a time of dramatic changes. Instead, it’s a year when reflection on the past is helpful, and when refinements to your life path should be made. It’s a good year to study and analyze. Unexpected twists to your life story and “chance” meetings are probable.
Advice – take stock of your life in order to prepare for more exciting years to come, examine the past and plan for the future, get in touch with your deepest needs and uncover your personal power, don’t strain yourself or actively try to expand.
Personal Year 8
This is a year of power and accomplishment. Actively seeking to expand, taking educated risks, and moving forward are highlighted. This is a year of opportunity, particularly in the material and business world, and opportunities need to be seized. It’s generally not a year to find a new love partner, simply because the focus is on the material world and your place in the world. This is a problem-solving year in which you can expect real, tangible results.
Advice – take action, plan ahead, seize opportunities.
Personal Year 9
This is a year of completion and transition. It is a time when we need to let go of things that no longer serve their purpose, and hold on to things that have a future. It is a time of cleaning out dead wood, not necessarily for new beginnings. It can be a time when a burden has been taken off your shoulders, and it can be a year of giving of yourself.
Advice – let go of things that are holding you back, give of yourself and express your sympathetic, compassionate side.
Love, Light & Blessings,
