One of the basic rules of Numerology is to reduce until we arrive to a single (or Cardinal) digit but this begs the question, ‘what about the double digits?’ ‘Do they mean anything?’ When forming a Numerological Chart, many Numerologists will include the double digit as well as the single digit (i.e 21/3 or 35/8) because while it’s not the final answer we’re looking for, we can’t exactly ignore it as it influences our Cardinal digit.
In brief, Chakras are the seven ‘wheels’ or centers of energy that run along the mid line of the body. Each Chakra has color association as well as a number association. If you remember this chart from The Color Of Your Name, this will help you connect some dots!
My relationship with numbers wasn’t always as apparent to me as it today, though I had a few clues that indicated their significance early in my life. As a young child, I remember practicing writing my numbers 1-9 and lovingly assigning them genders and even pairing them as romantic couples! It wasn’t until 2011 that I finally learned that it was a form of Ordinal Linguistic Personification – ‘a form of synesthesia in which ordered sequences, such as ordinal numbers, days, months and letters are associated with personalities.’ This is a common practice with Pythagoreans as it was taught as part of his teachings but there was no way for me to be aware of that as young as I was.
As we approach the later days of December 2015, I’d like to take some time to consider what 2016 may hold for most of us from a numerological perspective. This can help us to understand the overall trend and collective energy for the year 2016. I’m considering 2016 on it’s own as opposed to Personal Year Numbers which can be done by following this blog.
As itself, 2016 adds to a 9. In Numerology, a 9 represents a full cycle so we have moved through a full cycle since our last 9 year, 2007. It’s no secret that we all have gone through a lot since 2007 so with the approach of 2016 we will probably see many trends come to an end and thus a new cycle begins, as the song goes, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” Is this the year we can expect the homelessness and poverty trend to begin dissolving?
The Birthday Number is one of the five core numbers that make up a Numerological Chart which include; Life Path number, Destiny/Expression number, Soul Urge/Heart’s number, Personality number and Birthday number. This number is considered the least important of the five core numbers, however, it still gives us insight into the attitudes of ourselves and others.
To figure out our Birthday number, we only consider the day on which someone was born.
